Baldwin Youth Services is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) agency with three group homes: the Intervention Center, the Boys Home, and the Girls Home.
The Intervention Center provides shelter care for children (up to 17 years old) who are dependent and are in need of temporary placement. Referrals may be received from any county DHR within Alabama.
Our Boys and Girls Home residents are placed in our group homes by order of the Baldwin County Juvenile Judge/Juvenile Court. During their time in our group homes, each resident participates in individual, group, and family therapy, and earns their way out of the program based on a level system rooted from the Transtheoretical Model of Change.
