Baldwin Youth Services is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) agency with three group homes:  the Intervention Center, the Boys Home, and the Girls Home. The Intervention Center provides shelter care for children (up to 17 years old) who are dependent, have been adjudicated as a Child In Need of Supervision, or who have behavioral problems and parents are wanting an intervention to change the child’s behavior.  Referrals may be received from any county DHR within Alabama, Baldwin County Juvenile Probation Officers, and parents/legal guardians from Baldwin County. Boys and Girls home residents are ordered there by the Baldwin County Juvenile Judge.
