We understand that each child's path is unique, and sometimes we need help guiding their journey. BYS is here to assist parents and guardians via our current programs. Current programs listed below.
Our Services
Getting Started
DHR Shelter Care
Baldwin Youth Services offers temporary shelter care services for any DHR involved youth. Youth that have been placed into Alabama's DHR custody are eligible for placement for up to 30 days. If you are a DHR social worker in need of this service, please contact Rena Tunstall at assistantdirector@baldwinyouthservice.org.
Boarding Home Agreements
BYS offers a two-day program designed to support parents of youth in Baldwin County who may be struggling with poor decision-making or facing behavioral challenges. Boarding Home Agreements are $50 per night. During their stay, there is no access to electronic devices. Instead, their time will be focused on meaningful community service, structured chores, and time for reflection.
The goal is to help teens pause, contemplate their behaviors, and take ownership of their choices in a supportive environment. We aim to empower them to make positive changes without the need for further intervention.
If you are a parent interested in this service, please contact Hailie Crenshaw at hcrenshaw@baldwinyouthservices.org
