Nicole Gillespie, LICSW
Nicole Gillespie is a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with more than a decade of experience supporting individuals, families, and youth through social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Throughout her career, Nicole has focused on helping clients build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, overcome barriers, and work toward meaningful personal growth.
Prior to her current role as Assistant Director of Baldwin Youth Services, Nicole spent several years providing clinical therapy in an outpatient setting, working with diverse populations and addressing a wide range of mental health, substance use, relationship, and behavioral concerns. She has experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, behavioral interventions, trauma-informed care, and psychoeducational approaches. Her experience also includes care coordination, treatment planning, advocacy, referrals, and collaboration with families, agencies, and other healthcare professionals.
Nicole earned a Master of Social Work with a clinical focus from Loma Linda University and a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Organization Development from Spring Arbor University. She was a member and former secretary of the Phi Alpha Honor Society and has received recognition for leadership and service. Nicole is committed to creating a supportive, respectful, and empowering environment where clients feel heard, valued, and equipped to move forward.
Her passion for helping others, combined with her extensive clinical experience, allows Nicole to meet each individual where they are and support them in developing the skills and confidence needed to create positive change.
