Rena Tunstall, our Assistant Director for our Crisis Intervention Program, has over 30 years of dedicated service in the mental health and youth services field. She brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to supporting at-risk youth and families across Baldwin County.
Rena holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice/Corrections and Sociology from Coastal Alabama Community College (formerly Faulkner State Community College), and a Master’s Degree in Psychology and Counseling from Troy State University. Her academic foundation has been instrumental in shaping her approach to crisis intervention and youth advocacy.
Throughout her career, she has held key leadership roles, including Program Coordinator for a Group Home with Baldwin County Mental Health. She has collaborated extensively with the Department of Human Resources, Juvenile Probation, and various community organizations, building strong networks to support children and adolescents in need.
